He's proud of his town!

Jailee is wearing her new "Froggie" headband
It matches her "Froggie" shorts and no one will confuse her for a silly boy!

Here she is in one of 4 new outfits from Uncle Mike and Aunt Diane

As every parent knows, it's not all smiles and bows and yes it's as loud as it looks!

Another outfit from M&D

What a difficult life she leads!

Daddy burping baby

She's already trying to hold her own bottle

Just smiling

Tummy time again on the blanket from Gramma Jane

"Summer" day picnic - not hot out!

Jemma was giving "kisses"

Well, things are going much better over here. Jailee is getting a "special" bottle at night now so we are able to sleep 5/7hrs. During the day she will "cat nap" and when awake we can look forward to smiles, goos, and slobbers for at least 30min or so until she's ready for another feed. It seems like she's already grown so much. The other day I was trying to put on the lacy-bow tennis shoes that Gramma Linda sent her and they're already too small! This week we'll have to go through the 0-3mo drawer and thin out the things that no longer fit. Yes,...my life is exciting!

See everyone in WA next month - we can't wait!!

First Smiles

Ok folks,....here's some more pictures of the "princess"
~
This is Jailee's 3rd smile!!!
I was unable to catch the first 2 on film but as they say,
three's a charm!

Jemma with little sister Jailee.

Jailee loves her bouncy chair (complements of Jane Kent!)

YAWNS!!!

Falling asleep on mummy's shoulder

Tummy time!

Go Baby, Go Baby, Go Baby

Not smiling now!

Jailee,... smilin' again!

We've got a little crooked "Popeye" thing goin' on in this one!

Not sure what she's thinking in this one, but my guess would be "Look at this idiot making stupid faces just to see me smile!"
~
Well, hope everyone enjoyed the slide show. The last couple of nights Jailee's been sleeping ok. We left her in her car seat last night after returning from a BBQ, thinking that she'd wake up in a half hour or so. To our surprise she slept for about 4 1/2 hours!!! Yeah!!! Of course after getting her changed and back to sleep at 4:3am she only slept for a couple more. That's ok,...at least we were able to get some decent shut eye the first time around. We've reached the point that wherever she falls asleep in the evening - you don't move her!
~
Jailee has started to recognize us a little, at least we don't think she see's us a blobs anymore, but something familiar. Now that she's started to smile we can't wait until she can communicate even more. When she starts talking, all the time, we've heard that we may wish for these silent days back.
~
Jemma has started to realize that Jailee is actually a person instead of a toy of some sort. She will sniff her a little, gave her a kiss the other day, and often times I will find Jemma laying next to Jailee when she's in her bouncy chair or her car seat. Jemma's still a little skidish around the swing (it's scary you know) so she seldom makes her way over there. The other day Jailee was crying, actually screaming, while in her bouncy chair next to the shower. Of course I couldn't get to her fast enough and Jemma was pacing around trying to figure out what was wrong. She'd look at Jailee and then look at me as if to say, Fix It!
~
Well, signing off for now. We'll keep taking pictures so keep reading!
