Hello everyone. We are home (Washington State) and are having a great time. The Grandmas and Grandpas are having a wonderful time with Jailee. We spent the first two days in Renton/Tacoma visiting with Jim's Mom and Stepdad in Renton then went to Tacoma to visit our friends Mark and Kim. They are getting married on Aug 5th which is one of the reasons for our trip. While in Tacoma we got to attend our car club's 9th annual car show "Cruise the Narrows" www.gigharborcruisers.org It was great to see all of our car club friends which most of them have become Jailee's adopted grandparents.
Our next stop was to Lynnwood to spend time with Jim's dad, stepmom and sister. We got to entertain them two weeks ago in England now it was their turn to entertain us. I'll post pictures soon ("blogger" is not letting me at the moment) of all the fun we had.
We are on our last week and it is going to be a busy one. We have a lot of friends to see and a wedding to be in on Saturday. I hope to have pictures ASAP. Hope everyone is doing well and we'll post a new message soon.

The London Eye
We took a ride on the London Eye while we visited London last week and it was awesome. The day before we rode all around town on a bus tour so it was fun to see the whole city from a birds eye view. It was fun to see how big the city really is. The first picture was taken on Christmas day thats why the sky is different than the rest of the pictures. Unfortunately it wasn't a real sunny day when we went up but it was still fun. You can see forever up there. The "Eye" is about 460 feet tall and each capsule can hold 20 to 30 people. It never stops moving which can make getting on and off a bit tricky, even though it moves pretty slow. There's a bench in the middle of each capsule but most people stand up next to the windows and move around to see from every angle. Also because the speed is so slow it makes for a nice long ride. Here's a link if any of you want to check it out. Also, a bit more of information, the entire eye can be rented out for a little over 350 GBP, that's close to $700.00 USD.

4th uh... 3rd of July
Here is Jailee in her 4th of July outfit brought all the way from the "States" from Grampy Gary, Grammy Marti, and Auntie Em'. They came to visit her for a few days and we all had a great time. We all celebrated independence Day on the 3rd of July and still had the 4th off of work. I'm sure they did it this way so that everyone could relax on the 4th before returning to work on Wednesday the 5th. The festivities were held at one of the Air Force bases (RAF Feltwell) that is close by. There was a carnival, lots of food, beer garden, rides and of course a great fireworks display. Auntie Em' even won a "Pooh" for Jailee!! The Air Force really did a good job and we all had a wonderful time. It was nice to have a sense of home on our nation's holiday with fireworks and family near. Jailee watched the entire fireworks show, well that is when she wasn't entranced by the pretty lights from the carnival rides too! I guess to her anything that was lit up was "fireworks". Jemma had to stay home for the show, but we did spend time with her that day and on the official 4th. We did see pets there so we're thinking of letting her join us next year; we think she can handle it.Until next time,

July 4 Fast Approaching
When in Rome?!,....Not so fast! Since we're stationed at a "US Military Installation" we will be able to celebrate the 4th of July just as if we were at home. Apparently there is a fun filled day of celebrating at RAF Feltwell with food booths, activities, and fireworks at night. We are celebrating on the 3rd, Monday, not sure why because the 4th is on Tues, but we'll take what we can get. Jim's dad, Gary along with his step-mom Marti and little sister Emily will be coming in on Sunday so they will get to celebrate with us. This is the 2nd time we've been able to entertain family while living here. We're looking forward to their visit and then a week or so after they've gone home we will shortly follow and see everyone in WA late July/ early August. CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Here's a few more pics of our little darling!

This last one I think is
very sweet. This is a
0-3mo outfit.
She's outgrown
the "newborn" stuff which
made me sad, but at the
same time she's now able
to begin wearing some
other stuff that we've had
stored in the drawers, just
waiting for her.
