Last week we had some pictures taken and just got the proofs back so thought we'd share them with you guys. When Jailee arrives we'll take her to the photographer with us at 3mo and have our first family photo.
Also, a bit more news,.... we had a false alarm this morning and made a visit to the maternity ward. The contractions started at 3am and Jim woke up at about 5am so he started timing them. After calling L&D they told us to come in. We figured it was a false alarm since we're not due until the 17th, and we were right. After being hooked up to monitors I had only a couple more contractions and was sent home. Jim stayed with me until about 11:30 and then went to work for the rest of the day. I took it easy and Jim has made me promise to wake him the next time so we can start timing earlier. Even though the experience was painful (and I'm sure this was just the tip of the iceburg) it was kind of exciting. Jim kept making me laugh the whole time which didn't ease the pain, but kep my spirits up. We're both nervous and excited and hopefully the next visit will be more prosperous.
Until next time,.......some British trivia. Being a "smarty pants" or a little bold can also be described as being "cheeky". Also, Americans seem to say the word "cool" to describe almost everything, the Brits use the word "brilliant" in the same context.

And only Jim, Mark, and I (possibly Lance too) say "sweet" instead of "cool".
Since I will be out of e-mail range for a week, best of luck in the event the new J shows up in the interim.
