The London Eye

This is apicture of the London Eye located on the Thames River across from Big Ben. We took this on Christmas Day 2005. I haven't posted anything in a while and I was going through some pictures and thought this was cool. Today Cambridge University and Oxford University had their annual Crew Boat Race on this river. Oxford came in as the defending champ and won it again this year. The race has been going on since 1829 and is just over 4 miles long. Cambridge holds the record for the fasted time at 16 mins 19 secs. Today's race was much longer due to the heavy winds they had to row into.

On another note, baby should be here in a couple weeks (yeah we are getting a little nervous). So far Mum and Baby are doing fine but Dad is freaking out.

The 4 J's...

Now if it was a Yank crew racing, they'd've put a 454 Berkley Jet drive on the back of one of those shells years ago!

Good luck w/ the new pending J; we're all anxiously awaiting the news of the arrival over here too. Jim... you'll do fine... just look up "merconium" on Google so you won't be so caught off guard when it shows up.

From my experience, worst thing I ever learned about child birth and would've likely been fine for the rest of my life if I hadn't ever heard the words... "mucus plug".

Although... isn't "mucus plug" served with "chips" in UK pubs?
